All the characters from last year's number one grossing film at the box office (£662 million worldwide) are reunited for Harry Potter's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Packed with more action, humour and adventure, the film also has a host of new cast members, including Lucius Malfoy (JASON ISAACS) and Tom Riddle (CHRISTIAN COULSON), the new Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Gilderoy Lockhart (KENNETH BRANAGH) and the mysteriously mischievous house-elf Dobby.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets finds young wizard Harry Potter (DANIEL RADCLIFFE) and his friends Ron (RUPERT GRINT) and Hermione (EMMA WATSON) facing new challenges as they try to discover a dark force that is terrorising the school.
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Kenneth Branagh, Robbie Coltrane, Richard Harris, Maggie Smith all star in the film directed by Chris Columbus and produced by David Heyman. Based on the novel by J.K. Rowling.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be released in North America and the U.K. on November 15, 2002 by Warner Bros. Pictures, an AOL Time Warner Company.
